I love postcards, and have made a few. I’ve been catching up on my slightly random 2024 photography and found a series of blurry photos taken on my phone during a Uber journey from Bingley to Ilkley in February.

It was just getting dark, with a clear sky with the blue twilight. The car went fast through the little lanes, blurring the hedgerows, walls and fields, without much light to see any details, just a blur of gentle brown.

The pictures were taken from the back seat, and the reflection from the driver’s dashcam can be seen in the pictures.

So here it is, a picture postcard of an Uber Ride from Bingley.
